Mr. Barton, I never advertised my self as the "Listing agent" of the property you wanted to look at. You made that assumption. During the time that you were looking to rent, I was only working with past clients who had an exclusive agreement. Some agents choose to work without it (but should have had you sign a "No agency agreement" even to show a property). There are a lot of people who contact several agents and are never heard from again. I was waiting for your exclusive agreement to help you find your place. When I didn't receive your agreement, I assumed you found a different agent, or stopped looking, which happens all the time. I hope you have since found your new place, and best of luck to you.
